EdTechSmith: Making Technology Use in Education….Common

Standard

“Connected Educators” are defined as teachers who are actively involved in connecting with their peers, their students and the world through blogging, social media and chat rooms and bring back what they learn to their classroom, school and district.

Jen Smith is a Canadian teaching in suburban Chicago who has created a great blog on the use of Educational technologies.  In her September blogpost “Want to become a Connected Educator?  It will change your life.” she shares with us the impact of social media on her professional practice.

She also has a great presentation at the end of her post that gives great ideas explanations and help with Twitter.

I really liked Jenn’s practical blog: EdTechSmith: Making Technology Use in education … Common.  I am interested in anyone from our board who has been blogging and would like to create community of “connected educators” by sharing their blog with us here.
